EXTERIOR
This beautiful 300SL has been pampered all its life. the condition is evident that it has been driven with care and stored carefully over the years. The paint work is in excellent condition and shows very few imperfections or stone chips. All of the chrome work remains bright and fresh. the overall appearance of the car is almost like new.

The underside of the car is also in fine order. the arches and sills perfectly free from rust. The soft-top hood is free from any damage with no wear and the hardtop is unmarked.

INTERIOR
Open the door and the blue. crisp interior gives a sensation that you're back in a Mercedes showroom in the 1980's. The seats are in incredible condition and remains soft and supple with no signs of any wear. The plastic trim retains its new matt finish without any signs of use or age. All of the carpets are factory fresh and protected with the original Mercedes over mats.

The boot area looks like it has never had anything inside it and under the carpet sits the unused spare wheel.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The car's service history shows light but regular use. so as you would expect the car is in good mechanical order. The last service was carried out by Mercedes-Benz of Exeter at 20. 39 miles.

The Automatic gearbox feels silky smooth. pulling through the gears with ease.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
All of the alloys are in fine order with no major scuffs or kerb marks. The wheels are shod in matching Michalin tyres that all have over 6mm of tread.

The calipers still look fresh and the discs and pads show minimal wear.

HISTORY FILE
This Mercedes 300SL was first registered in August 1988. the V5 document states 6 keepers within that time. The car was sold to the first owner through its supplying dealer Charles Sidney. Mercedes specialists. The service booklet shows 7 stamps. the majority of which are with Mercedes main dealers. The last service was carried out by Mercedes- Benz of Exeter at 20k miles.

Within the history file there are invoices for service work and replacement parts. old mot certificates to help verify the cars low mileage and the original document pack. containing all the Mercedes booklets and manuals.
