This is a survivor.  It is clean and not rusted.  It spent almost the first 20 years in Arizona and then 20 years in storage. This car is driven several days a week and always starts and runs sweet.  The AC works but has not been converted.
It appears to have been painted once.  Paint is in good driver condition.  The interior is in very good condition.  I believe I am the third owner and it has been recently sorted by a local Corvair specialist. Carbs rebuilt. electronic ignition. runs very strong.
This car turns heads wherever I go.  I have the last owner's notebook with details of service since 1983. The odometer reads 04259.  It appears to have turned over once. but I do not know if the mileage is accurate.
The Service Record Book reports that second owner purchased the car in 1980 in Phoenix @ 40. 00 miles. He replaced the 110 engine with 95HP engine and transaxle automatic from 1968 Monza coupe at 68. 00 miles because premium leaded fuel no longer available. O-rings replaced with Vitons at about 58. 00 miles and the car does not leak oil. The car was in storage from 1984 @ 85. 00 miles and removed from storage in February 2003.
You might ask. "Harry. why are you selling this great car?"  Answer:  I have the Corvair. plus a 1957 Vintage Speedster Replica (to be listed soon) and my sweet wife just bought me a 1967 Camaro RS that had a complete frame off restoration for my last birthday. I need to get back down to just one or two and I am keeping the Camaro. That is why I included the photo of the Camaro and the Speedster.
The Corvair runs so sweet since Ed Meadows sorted it for me and I really. really hate to see it go.  And if it doesn't sell at a reasonable price then i will hang on to it and enjoy.
If you want a solid car with owner's history and service record book with all maintenance and repairs since 1980 this is your opportunity! I will ship at your expense. I will arrange carrier or you may arrange.
