1956 Chevrolet Truck has a 350 crate engine with a Holley Double pumper carburetor. 700R4 Transmission. Power steering. Front Disc brakes. Dual Exhaust and working Air Conditioning  (am-fm radio ipod and discplayer hookup in glovebox).

Car has modern stuff under the hood but it kept old school on the outside.   Still has the large three passenger seat and gauges.   The speedometer is flaky and I use my GPS for accurate speed.   I was planning on switching everything over to digital.    Also there is a hairline crack on the driver window that you can see when sitting inside the truck.    I bought the car from California about three years ago and was planning on painting it red with ghost flames. dropping it down. dark tinting the windows and adding chrome wheels.

Since then I have bought a 73 Challenger and 70 Mustang and they are taking all my money getting them ready for show this summer.   I decided to sell this truck since I am concentrating on the other two cars.    It would not take much to make this truck a great show car.    It has the wooden bed and a black cover to protect it from the sun.   Of course. I would never drive it in the rain so the covers just to protect the wooden bed from the sun and for privacy.

It has the usual little squeak and tweak on it and probably need a chassis lube and grease to make it quiet like a new car.     When doing a tight three point turn with the steering turned all the way you can hear a moan. During normal driving the steering is quiet. but the truck is about 60 years old so you expect a little squeak here and then. A noise is coming from the belt to the alternator. I took the belt off of the alternator and the noise went away.   I then replaced my chrome alternator with a new alternator and put the belt back on and the sound came back.   I spray the belt but the noise can still be heard.   Can't figure it out. I will enclosed the chrome alternator since that was good.

The truck has the usual little nicks. scratches. nbsp;and some peeling (see pics). but in total it is a great deal at my posted price.   With just a red or blue paint job and chrome wheels this truck will be an eye catcher and have everyone giving you the thump up. which I get every time when I take it for a drive.    With the big chrome grill in the front and the large bay window in the back. it is definitely an attention getter.   If you like trucks and antique vehicles. this is the one for you.
