We have owned this vehicle since 1995 but changing circumstances have decided us to sadly part with it. My wife has had a knee replacement and is due another one this month. She finds it very difficult to get in and out of the car. Last year we only did a couple of hundred miles. It was fully restored before we purchased it but is now due a little remedial work – nothing serious. The doors have rust along the bottoms and need new skins. The rear nearside quarter panel has some rust and a parking scrape. The spoked wheels could do with sandblasting and re- powder coating. So. all in all. a sound car in need of a little TLC. Since our ownership we have had the engine fully professionally rebuilt (done about 5000 miles since - specification available) and reupholstered the leather interior. The car has a period Motolita steering wheel and a period hard top in Old English White (needs new rear glass in the window). The MOT expires next month but I will re-MOT before selling. We have a comprehensive history file. Photos 7. 9 10 and 11 are period. The car can be viewed by arrangement - please telephone 01271 815410. On 11-Apr-13 at 17:34:30 BST. seller added the following information:Just to clarify a few things since my original listing that have arisen as questions.
1. Payment will be by cash on collection.
2. The car has a standard four speed overdrive gearbox.
3. A new clutch was fitted when the engine was rebuilt.
4. The car has an aluminium bonnet (with a slight hand indentation at the front).
