Seller's notes: "Major project, car has been sitting for nearly 40 years yet appears virtually complete. Broken windshield, missing tail light lenses but these can still be found new. Eastern Washington desert car so remarkably rust free EXCEPT for trunk floor which is the only portion with rust out - floor pans, rocker panels, fenders etc are all well preserved rust free.Hood has some repairable 'wrinkles' but is useable / salvageable. Mechanical condition unknown, assume the worst and if it's not, you'll be pleasantly surprised. Might be best considered for a drive-train swap such as late model Toyota etc but restoration of original is probably doable also."

1960 Simca Aronde Gran Luxe Coupe 2-door

An all original Washington car that's not been driven for nearly 40 years

28. 00 miles shown believed but not documented to be correct

Only the trunk floor shows rust - must have had something wet inside as remainder of car is remarkably solid.

With the current craze for 'patina' you might want to retain the original paint -

I think it's cool looking.

Original handbook in good condition. Missing keys.

Mechanical condition unknown - assume the worst and if it's not you'll enjoy the pleasant surprise.

Personally I'd do a drive-train swap - some modern four-cylinder engine/trans but there is excellent club support for these cars. particularly in England and France so nearly everything needed to return it to original condition is available.
Highly desirable and rare two-door coupe body uses same mechanical parts as much more common four-door.

Have the title.

Only the rear tires hold air - will need to be winched onto a trailer.

Needs to be picked up within 10 days of purchase
