The Chief Custom

When it comes to custom cars. MissChiTown is very fussy about the cars that it can recommend.   We love historic custom cars by their nature of being historic they automatically have an element of importance.   When it comes to custom cars that have been done in recent times we have to admit that a lot of the ideas and pieces in many that became what some would call a ‘hodgepodge'.   It is very seldom that you see a fantastic custom car and when you do see them you usually find them at the Grand National Roadster Show.   Yes the Grand National Roadster Show is as fussy as can be about what cars can be exhibited at their show.   Let's face it. after more then 60 years of custom cars being produced (most out of California) it would seem that all the good ideas have been used up.

The seller of this car has indicated that he would seriously consider an offer of $39. 00. 00 to end the auction early.   If this is of interest to you kindly call 847-774-4857 to discuss.

The reason that we mention the above is that the car that is presented in this ad is just off the wall with original ideas.   It is done in such good taste with such high quality craftsmanship. it is hard to believe that it wasn't done by one of the old. true California craftsman customizers from the 1950s and 1960s.   To top that off the design and taste are true perfection.   We can find no fault. just watch the video and see how the hood opens up and you will be slammed back into your chair going. “WOW!  That is amazing”.   Just think of the mechanics that not only opens up the hood but pulls it forward before it opens up.   Lest we forget. the car is a winner at a Grand National Roadster Show from the 21st century.

Very seldom (if ever) will you find a Grand National Roadster Show winner on eBay or for public sale as they are usually traded to other inside collectors long before they reach a public sale.

The car that is in this ad is also unusual that very seldom is ever the starting point. a 1936 Pontiac Chief 3 window coupe.   So whether you want to call this a custom car that is a Grand National Roadster Show winner or a retro rod done to architectural perfection or if you prefer to call it a hotrod with a 350 engine and transmission. you will glad you were the winner and new owner!

Keep in mind that the car has all the modern conveniences of Vintage Air air conditioning. LED lights and is highly sorted out with 12. 864 miles since its frame off restoration that was completed in 1999.

For your driving pleasure the car comes equipped with all the power that you would want including steering. brakes. windows and seats.   (Kind of sounds like you are ordering a brand new 2014 car in many ways).   The upholstery was done by one of the finest upholstery shops around and the attention to detail is extraordinary.

A car like this at Barrett-Jackson would bring super big bucks but the owner is not greedy and he wants the car to have a good caretaker going into the future.   If you are as enthused about this car as much as we are then you should bid to win. you won't be disappointed.
