1988 Unimog U1200 Snow Blower 4 Wheel Steer for sale

 1988 Mercedes Benz Unimog U 1200 snow blower setup with 8'6" Schmidt FS4 Blower Head and an L10 Cummins to power the blower head. The blower can chew though heavy frozen snow with its open helical design that is protected by shear pins to avoid damage if you were to hit something solid. Also has the truck loading chute which is handy for directing the snow while blowing. it can be easily turned to the side for wet snow.
This truck is very clean with low hours on both the truck and blower engines. The Blower motor has 1287. 5 hours and the front engine has 1127. 0 hours and 4. 73 Miles.
Underside of the truck is very clean and virtually rust free with a nice thick undercoating.
This truck boasts  four wheel steer which is very handy when blowing snow as it allow you to crab away from the bank you just blew without dragging the blower head through it.
The truck is designated as a U1200 and is built on that frame. however it sports U1600 axles to support the turning of the rear axles.
The truck starts right up as does the blower and purrs like a kitten even in bitter cold with the automatic ether injection setup. 99% of the time it is not even needed during cold weather starts.
The only issue with the truck is that the brakes get air in them from a seal that is leaking on one of the calipers and so they need to be bled on a semi regular basis. I never got around to fixing it because in first gear even in high range barely creeps. The air parking brake is fully operational.
I have a full set of heavy chains as well.
