Relisted so here is your chance of a lifetime!!

This New Mexico car was a back yard find.   It came from the factory with a 396 engine and a 4 speed tranny. The restoration process took 2 years.   We took the car totally apart and soda blasted the frame and metal finding it to be in remarkably good shape.   Every part was inspected and replaced if worn.   Every bolt. bushing. and gasket is new.   The brakes and brake lines are all new.   We invested about $65K in the restoration and will let it go for significantly less.

The original car was a SS  model big block Camaro. The original 396 block was cracked so we added a 1970 LS5 engine that we had rebuilt for a chevelle project.   This gives the car more torque. more horses. and a meaner sound.   The free flow exhaust system is all new with 2. 25" tubes. The M22 tranny was completely rebuilt with new synchronizers and bearings. It shifts sweet with the new hurst shifter. The 12 bolt posi rear was rebuilt using 3. 73 gears so that you can get both tires boiling at once. The 9737 gauge. spoiler. and console package. and the ZL-1 cowl induction are all brand new.   Note that the car came from the factory with the 140 mph speedo which is rare.

The car is painted in its original color code 72 hugger orange.   The orange was topped with 4 clear coats to give it that wow factor.   The car was then wet sanded by hand until it was like glass.   The paint is absolutely flawless.

The entire interior is new with the deluxe black and white houndstooth interior. That makes the old dull camaro interiors look dated. It is better than new inside.   All the gauges work.   The radio works but sucks since it is the original radio.

The original dog dish hubcaps were replaced with period correct Cragar mags and real DOT correct Goodyear tires.   This gives the car a little sparkle. We powder coated underneath to prevent rust in the future. The car has 120 miles on it since restoration.

This car is scary fast.   It will spin the tires in any gear at nearly any speed.   A really nice car for the weekend warrior.   It has never seen rain and is currently waiting for you in my climate controlled garage.

Trades. maybe.
