1974 Triumph Spitfire Base Convertible 2-Door 1.5L

Up for Auction today is my 1974 Triumph Spitfire  - 47. 00 Miles -  Exceptional  Condition

This Spit is one of the nicest I've seen around. (Yes. I'm biased)   Low miles and not one spot of rust. and the car runs  great. (Just had new valves installed). This is my third Spit and this one by far is the nicest I've owned as it has been partially restored.   Installed  many new parts.   If you know about Spits and like to get dirty and greasy working on your own car. this is the car for you.  If you want to just jump in. turn the key and go. move on to another car. Spits are high maintenance and  require constant babying. However. this car is the most fun to drive and work on you'll ever have.   I restored this car to my satisfaction and the only thing left to do is the interior of the bonnet area. But since it's not visible it was not a priority. The reason I'm selling the car is that I have my eye on another project and Mama says I can't have both. (Well actually I can. but I'll be sleeping in the garage for the rest of my life).   I believe the value of the car is much higher that what I'm willing to sell it at. but I need room in my garage.

This is just a partial list of the items that were replaced on the car. I'll include the Haynes repair manual and the Jet Kit for the Webber Carb and the car cover since I won't need them anymore. There are no warrantees with this car either expressed or implied. $500 non-refundable deposit via PayPal must be paid immediately after auction. the remainder to be paid upon pickup of vehicle in cash. I'm flexible as to when you need to pick up the car. Sorry no checks. I will not release the car with ANY Type of check.
