I am offering my Hornet Coupe for sale that I have owned for over 38 years. I built and rebuilt this car to DRIVE and I have DRIVEN it all over the mid west from Nebraska to Ohio and everywhere in between. This car has never been trailored to an event. There are fewer than 10 of this year and model in existence due to the NASCAR dominance with 1951 being the first year of the Hornet. I am a long time member of the Hudson club and have quite a few extra parts and manuals for this particular car. The paint is acrylic lacquer and was done over bare metal. Much of the chrome has been redone and the car has rarely seen rain in the last 30 years and no snow. The seats were professionally rebuilt from the springs up with the best materials. Car drives great and runs like a true Hornet should. Here are some items that have been replaced/reconditioned in the last 10. 00 miles:Engine. transmission. 3:07 rear axle. rear axle bearings. u-joints and carrier. gas shocks x4. seats. paint. center point steering. king pins. alternator. Holley 600. batteries. wheel cylinders. water and fuel pump. radiator. complete exhaust system and I can't remember what else. The Hornet engine is very strong and the single range hydro works well with no slippage. The engine has a planed 262 iron head. a  very rare true 7X exhaust manifold. a custom polished aluminum 4BBL intake with manifolds and block gasket ported. Car is still 6v + ground and uses a two battery system to crank on 12 and run on six. It has a 6v + alternator as well. I have a 12v trolling battery in the trunk to power a modern under dash CD/I pod stereo. Nothing has been modified or cut that would prohibit 100% originality if you desire. I have an extra set of rocker panels. rocker extensions and skirts for the car with the triangle stainless pieces. I do not have the original wheels. The driver's windshield has a crack in it near the spot light. done by me 35 years ago when I put it in. I have never replaced it and these pieces are readily available. If you drive this car for 1000 miles at 65MPH on a 90 degree day you will use about a quart of oil and get 15MPG. Please contact me via e-mail with additional questions. Thank you. Dan

I will not be available to answer questions for the last 12 hours of the auction. Sorry.

Good day Sir,
Is the car still available? It is said that you also put it on Ebay but I can't find it there so I thought I should ask!
Thank you very much!
Best regards,
Devrim
