The Car ran great but has been sitting for the last 6 months. Appears the one of the carburator seals has a leak so I can't take it on any Spring cruises. It is a shiftomatic which is somewhere in between an Automatic/Manual.

The car was just painted 2 years ago. and is extremely straight. with no bondo I can detect or recall. All it needs is the s/s side trim put back on (2 pcs. /side. plus one painted metal stone guard and one s/s rocker panel trim strip per side). along with 3 of the 4 door handles -- the driver's handle is still installed. and that door opens in the regular way. I will include the other 3 handles. just be aware that they haven't been replated and are just slightly pitted. The three associated interior door upholstery panels have been removed. but include them and they're in EXC cond. Weatherstripping is all in place and in EXC cond.

Other than that. the RF electric window is intermittent and slow to move when it does. and the RR one needs a new motor. The other two (L. or driver's) side wdws work like new. The master control for them is at the driver's station; there are also indiv. switches at each door. You will also have to put both wiper arms back on -- a 5 min. task -- and re-install a radio aerial (removed. but since missing -- I include the little knurled knob it sat on). The orig. deluxe AM push-button radio is still in the dash.

The mechanics are all fine -- engine. tranny. differential. suspension. steering. brakes. lights. cooling. etc. Floors. incld. the trunk floor. have always been solid. The car has little extras like a pair of front splash guards I installed. a clock. it's been treated with a special $45/qt. rust-preventive black paint called POR-15. and it drips little to no oil -- unusual for something of this vintage. The gas gauge reads about 1/10 too full constantly.

All engine hoses and ignition wires are new. and the heater even works. Glass is good all around. Headliner is perfect (lt. gray). You can move a lever under the dash to open a ventilation slit in the cowl to admit fresh air at knee-level while driving; between that and opening the driver's vent window. the car is cooled very effectively. The carpeting is the same black rat-rod style. Both seats and the "B" pillar were covered about 8 years ago in a non-orig. style patterned cloth. predom. black. and they look good. The top edge of the rear seat got hit with too much sun. however. which split the fabric there a bit. however I include a couple of yards of the same stuff (never used material) to repair it with. should you even notice the damage.
