Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2) based on 302 votes

1989 Cadillac Allante rebodied with a vintage 1947 Lincoln Model H coupe body. 8-Cylinder. 4. 5 liter. 4 speed. automatic transmission. 53. 52 miles.  Appraised Value  $45. 00 by Vintage Viewpoint. International Association of Automotive Appraisers.

As the appraisal from Vintage Viewpoint states on this car: This is a very unique street rod. with a 1989 Cadillac Allante as the basis. the complete mechanical donor. A 1947 Lincoln Model H body was used. and in a very well engineered marriage. was mated to the Allante chassis after the Allante body was carefully cut away. All structural joinings were done with safety and integrity in mind. double or triple joined with welding. riveting. and other methods. Great care has been taken by the builder to make sure that all systems of the original car remain intact and servicable. The rebody is well excuted. and the packaging under the hood and front fenders is paticularly tidy. It is literally a modern driving car that looks like a vintage one. albeit a bit "custom". Both the Allante and Lincoln are unique choices for this marriage. but if one were to attempt to build such a car with professional labor. the costs would climb well into six figures. Many street rods with comparable levels of modern upgrades regularly trade hands in the $30K-60K range. The quality and uniqueness of this vehicle. in addition to its easy servicability at almost any GM dealership. make it a desirable custom vehicle.

Serial number on the title is for factory stamped 1947 Lincoln serial number. It is listed as a 1989 Cadillac because electrical. mechanical. etc. is all Cadillac.

All identification numbers and description were assigned to the title by the Washington State Patrol since it was a combination of two vehicles.

Please see the appraisal for more information.
