Please note that I am selling my Subaru with a slight whine from the drive train. It drives faultlessly and the noise is slight and not always apparent. If you have experienced a wheel bearing noise it is very similar.  My workshop is of the opinion it is most likely from the differential.

A General and Honest Description of my Subaru Forrester

On the Road: The manual gears change smoothly both up and down the box. The clutch is light and has an early bite. The steering is tight and positive and the suspension and ride is excellent. The brake pads and discs are in excellent condition and work perfectly. All the electrics I have found to be in excellent working order.   

The Boot Compartment: Clean. dry and extremely large. The interior boot carpet is in excellent condition and shows little sign of use. The spare tyre. jack brace and locking wheel nut is present.

Interior: The cloth roof lining material is quite perfect with no marks. stains or fading. The Grey cloth seats are also in nice order. The dash. doors and centre console materials are all in perfect condition and all the the floor carpets front and rear are in really excellent condition. The carpet pile is deep and soft. “The whole interior is in really excellent over all condition.

Wheels and Tyres: All four alloy wheel rims are in excellent condition with only a couple of small kerb marks. All four tyres have a good to excellent tread depth.  

Body Work and General Condition: As is common with any car that has been used there will be a certain amount of wear and tear. This Subaru Forrester has suffered very little. With the exception of a couple of small blemishes. Very small dent on the wheel arch and a small corner scuff on the bumper. All the body panels and paintwork is in really excellent condition. All the panels have a mirror finish and the paint is exceptionally bright. The car now benefits from a good coating of wax. The underside of the car is clean and there is no oil leaks.

So what are you buying?

A Very desirable and robust AWD vehicle. The noise from the drivetrain is an easy fix if you are mechanically handy. All the electrics and mechanics are in excellent working order. My Subaru was serviced 2713 miles and the road tax is valid until the end of August. Nothing left for the new owner to do.
