Shelby Cobra,The Real Deal 1965 427 Side Oiler

Here is a rare opportunity to own one of the First ERA #83 Cobra's built in 1984 with The Real Deal 1965 Very Rare Ford 427 c. i. Side Oiler and of course a Top-loader 4-Speed with Jag Rear. It has had 3 Owners since built. The third Owner bought the car from F40 Motorsports ( if you don't know who they are turn your TV on Great Show Wayne Knows his Stuff !!! )and his Own words were " Awesome Performance with the Right Powertrain !" So on 6/23/94 with 3694. 4 miles on it since then Every Thing has been Recorded in a Notebook from every Part bought including the price and Date. All specs on Car. all maintenance with mileage and dates. and pages of Notes which will be included with purchase of car . If I was You this would be one of the more Important things is to know the History.  Hundreds of hours he spent making everything Right !. I have know about this car since he purchased it in 1994 and I think I saw him two times in 20 years driving it. He said the first year he put on 1800 miles and then 2842 miles in the 19 years following that. ( if you do the Math that is 149 miles a Year ! ) One reason for the low miles is because he owned 5 other cars that he also enjoyed using. The Pictures I hope will answer 99% of any Questions about the Condition and as you can see in them it looks like a REAL COBRA  This being an early ERA built car it was so close to the Original that in 1986 Shelby took legal action to have them to change the body style and components which they did do to settle it.  In the last 2 weeks since I got the car to sell a couple people have asked me if "That's a Real One"? (Believing it is) Mostly they say that because of the True Patina on the Car !!!  This car looks Like An Original 1966 Cobra that has never been restored. As the pictures show there are nicks chips. urned paint by side pipes and a little surface rust on the drivetrain to make it look 48 years old ! The Tires are Original from 1984 ! Yes they are Original so you don't have to worry that it is on it's 5th set of tires because they were burning them off ! The engine is a REAL 1965 Ford #s matching  builder was Ken Shielke Sr. Block Code C5AE-H Standerd Bore ! . 600 lift crowler cam 11-1 Compression  H. P. 450+.
