Here for reluctant sale is my beloved T3 truck. I need to sell to raise funds for moving abroad.

I imported this vehicle from Germany a few years back and slowly put it back on the road and registered it in the UK.  

It has just 55000KM on the clock (about 32k miles) due to it's much cossetted existence for 22 of it's 28 years. It was owned by Frankfurt am Main Airport ('Flughafen' in German) and used mainly for shunting luggage up and down the flat run ways. This means it was always kept in a hangar and well maintained although I have no documentation to prove this (it would have been done in house by the mechanics on site and documented through log sheets and the like rather than a physical service record we are used to).  
After 2 more owners in Germany it was purchased by me and has since done 10k trouble free miles.  

It is MOT'd until June and Taxed until July with the engine and gearbox pulling very well. It is very economical for such a large vehicle with the 1. 6 diesel engine. It's not quick but it keeps up with the lorries on the motorway no problem.  

For me. it's charm is in the old sign writing. bold airport paint scheme and general ruggedness. It's truly unique. genuinely turns heads and draws many positive comments.  

Whilst bearing the battle scars of luggage trolleys and bulky suitcases. the main areas of concern are all solid. Front valance. windscreen frame. steps. seams etc. I personally like the taped rear arches adding to the 'ratty' look but really they need replacing as. unless taped. they would fail an MOT on 'jagged edges'. The replacement panels can be sourced for around £35.  

I think that's it. The only other points worth noting are a replacement indicator bulb and a bad dash light connection which I will try and do in the next week while this ad is up.  

Price is £3500 ONO but I do require a quick sale so I will leave it a few days before listing on eBay and accepting offers.
