MK2 Golf GTi 16v. 1991. Oak Green. 3dr. Immaculate cond. 85k. Investment piece.

With the obligatory (and deepest) regret I am selling my mint 1991 3dr GTi 16v in Metallic Oak Green.

She is my second car; which is used every other weekend and kept dry in the garage between uses.

Being offered to collectors or enthusiasts who will appreciate the holy grail of hot hatches.

This car is increasing in value and is certainly an investment purchase.

A rare find. let alone with such low mileage and in such good condition. the car gets some serious attention and I am frequently questioned about it by people of all ages. as it is just in such stunning condition.  

She is 100% original & unmolested. She has been cared for and loved. which is demonstrated by the incremental increases in mileage year on year (detailed later).

The car has never been re-sprayed or never had an accident or claim. it is completely straight and in completely original condition. There is no corrosion or rust anywhere. including around the engine bay. petrol filler cap and around the boot lid etc.  

She is washed every other weekend by myself using the 2 bucket method. She has been clayed two weeks ago. polished and has a few layers of premium wax on her. If any one could pick fault with the exterior there is a very small lacquer chip above the passenger rear window. the size of a baked bean. care has been taken when washing the car in this area and it would cost no more than £30 for a body shop to repair if you didn't trust yourself to do it. It sounds and drives amazingly. pulling strongly in all gears. stopping very well and with no play or clunking in the steering. The car is extremely nimble. fast and very good fun. The engine revs hard and accelerates well. The car starts first time every time with just a turn off the key. The steering is precise and works as it would have in 1991.

The interior is immaculate. has no rips. tears. sagging or staining. Everything works as it should and works smoothly. The only negative to report is the passenger window motor is a bit noisy as is an aftermarket part & not an OEM part. this can be replaced easily with a second hand part. The interior smells like a 23 year old golf should and not of cigarettes or any nasty stuff.

The car is available for inspection in Beckenham. BR3 and will also be on arena display at the Bromley Pageant of Motoring on the 7th June.

The car is heading for a historic auction in August unless it sells first and can be shipped worldwide at the buyers cost. please contact me to discuss delivery options.

The car has multiple listings and may be withdrawn from sale at any time. this is not a distress sale and tyre kickers and test pilots will be spotted a mile away.   I am not open to silly offers.
