Brief history -

The car was purchased by me in 1989 and was an import from Torrance California. Its manufactured colour was VW green but when I purchased it from California it was Red. I have subsequently changed the main body colour to what they call Chinchilla Grey and painted the roof cream.

Exterior -

·       Re-chromed front and rear bumpers / over-riders with new rubber seals are round.

·       Original chrome door handle but with new rubbers seals all round.

·       New scrip badges and chromed door and body panel strips

·       New chromed swan necked wing mirrors

·       New rear brake indicator lenses

·       New door. bonnet and engine lid seals

·       Front nose protection bra that clips on and off to stop any stone chips

·       Number plate has been removed from boot lid and replaced on the bumper. It has been fitted with a light to aluminates it to comply with the MOD certificate.

Interior –

·       Original 1970 seats with head rests all in excellent condition

·       New carpets – Grey with a lighter grey edging including the luggage compartment

·       Leather door and rear panels with pleated pockets and VW emblem stitched in – Colour white and black

·       Alpine stereo

Engine -

·       VW air cooled 1600cc

·       Dellorto carburettors (40's)

·       Twin outlet quiet pack exhaust

·       Oil cooler

Chassis -

·       Lowered suspension

·       Original styled wheels
