Introduced in 1993 to the public. the handsome new DB7 was Aston
Martin's first six cylinder model since production of the DBS had
finished in 1971. Styled by Ian Callum. its lines were evocative of
earlier Aston Martin models and elements of the DB4/5/6 could be
seen in its design. Arguably one of the most attractive
looking cars ever produced by Aston Martin. the DB7 was well
received and attracted new customers worldwide with its traditional
layout of the curvaceous two door coupé body and powerful six
cylinder engine. Power was supplied by an all alloy double overhead
camshaft 24 valve inline. six cylinder supercharged engine which
produced 335bhp @ 5750rpm. The supercharger was supplied by Eaton. br/>who also provided blowers for the mighty eight cylinder Vantage
that was produced at Newport Pagnell at the same time as the DB7 at
Bloxham. In 1999. the more powerful DB7 V12 Vantage was introduced
at the Geneva Motor Show. Its 6. 0 litre 48-valve. V12 engine
produced 420bhp and 400lb ft of torque. Aston Martin claimed
it had a top speed of either 186mph with the manual gearbox or
165mph with the automatic gearbox. and would accelerate from 0-60
mph in 4. 9 seconds. After the launch of the Vantage. sales of the
supercharged straight-6 engine DB7 had reduced considerably and so
production was ended by mid-1999. Regarded by many as the purest
modern Aston Martin. the DB7 will undoubtedly be a collectable car
for years to come and is equally at home in the city or out on the
open road.

This Stunning DB7 V12 Vantage is finished in Pentland green with
parchment interior. The very low mileage of 11. 23 is confirmed by
the service history and as such. the mileage is warranted. The V12
engine burst into life upon pressing the start button and on our
short test drive. it is obviously apparent that this is a
magnificent example that has been loved and cherished. Benefitting
from automatic transmission. this Aston Martin is not only
delightful to look at. it is superb to drive. Supplied with a V5
registration document and a full years MoT test certificate. the
unmarked condition and very low mileage of this V12 Vantage is sure
to make this car highly sought after.
