THIS IS A VERY GOOD EXAMPLE OF A 1972 MERCEDES 280SE 3. 5 AUTO.  THIS CAR FOUND ITS WAY TO ST TROPEZ IN THE SOUTH OF FRANCE IN THE 70's WHERE IT REMAINED UNTILL LAST YEAR. WE BROUGHT THE CAR BACK AS THE OWNER PAST AWAY. AS IT WAS AN ORIGINAL RHD CAR SUPPLIED NEW IN THE U. K.  WE CHANGED THE YELLOW HEADLIGHTS TO THE UK CLEAR VERSION AND PUT HER IN FOR AN MOT WHICH SHE PASSED WITH FLYING COLOURS. THE PAINTWORK WAS A LITTLE SUN TANNED SO WE HAD HER RESPRAYED TO BRING HER BACK TO FORMER GLORY. THE VELOUR TRIM IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AS ARE THR CARPETS. THE CAR IS SHOWING 16000 WHICH I WOULD SAY ITS DONE 116000. UNFORTUNATELY WE DONT HAVE THE SERVICE BOOK AS THE FAMILY COULDN'T FIND IT WHEN WE COLLECTED HER. THIS CAR IS A PLEASURE TO DRIVE AND WOULD MAKE A GREAT DAILY CLASSIC. PLEASE E MAIL WITH ANY QUESTIONS
