Porsche 1961 356B Super Coupe T5
Finished in its original colour of Silver with blue leatherette interior with oatmeal German weave carpets and rubber floor mats as it would of been when originally supplied new. The car was restored for the previous owner with the instructions he wanted an "excellent driver quality car" that he could jump in start. drive for the day and be proud of it. he searched for a very solid car to begin with and then the restoration begun
The restoration was carried out in 2006 where the car was taken down to bare metal and refinished in its original silver. the two front seats where re-trimmend. new oatmeal German weave carpets. new rubber floor mats. new side body deco strips. new Koni shocks. new shift link bushes. new clutch. pressure plate. release bearing. flywheel seal. new brake cylinders to all four wheels. new headliner. he rest of the interior remained as original. tyres are in excellent almost new condition. chrome wheels and chrome crested hubs. original Bilstein jack. correct working radio. sports exhaust.
Although this car in not concours. its a lovely. fantastic condition drivable car thats starts on the button every time. Over time you may want to do some minor small improvements. but for now i wouldn't do any thing to this car other than just jump in drive it and enjoy every minute of this fast appreciating classic car.
