This is a beautiful. 1949 Packard Deluxe 8 Club Sedan in excellent condition inside and out. It has lovely fastback styling. This car was recently used in the 2013 Hollywood picture "Gangster Squad" starring Sean Penn and Nick Nolte. The car was recently acquired from the movie studio after they were done shooting the movie. This is an original black plate California car that is totally rust free and solid as a rock. This beauty was past owned by a shop teacher specializing in auto restoration and maintenance. It was very nicely restored a few years ago and looks great. These 40's Packard's are very desirable and very rare to find in this type of condition. It is very nicely presented and a piece of Hollywood history!

This is the car to have if you want to feel like an instant celebrity. It's the ultimate cruiser and it gets more attention and appreciation than any exotic or new luxury car could ever get. This beauty is a rolling testament to the glitz. glamour. innovation. and prosperity of the 1940's. This is a very usable classic car that no one else will have and will always go up in value!!

This Beautiful 1949 Packard has been very well taken care of. It is finished in Burgundy. which looks great on the car. The paint is a few years old but shows beautifully. She has always been well maintained and it shows. All the chrome and trim on the car is in excellent condition. This car was kept inside and treated. as a true Collector Car should be! The car is completely rust free and solid as a rock. It is very straight down the sides. It is sitting on its original wheels and caps with white wall tires.

It has a nice original style interior that was all redone and looks very nice. All the original wood-grain is in great condition. Everything works in the car except the horn and radio. All the chrome and trim on the dash is very clean. Inside the trunk is very clean.

Mechanically. the engine and transmission run great! This Packard drives with no issues at all! The original 288ci straight eight engine provides great power to move this little diamond around. The engine compartment is all stock and clean. The car is an absolute pleasure to drive. Fire her up and she's ready to cruise.

All and all. this is a great 40's classic in excellent condition and a joy to own and drive. To add it has great Hollywood ties and is a true movie star. At Close of Auction

All Arizona Buyers must pay 7. 3% sales tax!

All successful winning bidders will be responsible for a non-negotiable $199 Document Processing Fee in addition to the winning bid amount.

The successful "winning" bidder must telephone us within 24 hours after the auction has ended to verify purchase and make arrangements to complete the transaction.

Full payment must be received within 7 business days of the end of auction. Payment must be either by cashiers-check. cash (In-Person) or certified funds. If funds are not received. and an alternate arrangement has not been made. the vehicle can and will be made available to other potential buyers on a first-come. first-serve basis.

The parties agree that this contract shall be construed under the substantive laws of the state of Arizona . that the state courts of Arizona shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any action brought to enforce the terms of this contract or over any action arising out of the underlying transaction (s) with seller and venue may be had in the Maricopa County Superior Court of the state of Arizona .

Our Guarantee

We have disclosed as much information as possible about this vehicle and aim to only carry quality vehicles. However. we recommend that all buyers conduct an inspection either in person or through a qualified professional third party inspector. Prior to delivery. if such inspection reveals a substantial discrepancy between the information contained in the listing and the actual vehicle. we will correct the problem at no charge or work out a compromise.
