This Thunderbird has a STRONG - "Z" Code - "GROUND POUNDING - (300 HP) - 390 CID V8 in it that has 2000 miles on a rebuild and is running very well indeed. During the rebuild the heads were completely rebuilt with hardened valves. valve seats and valve guides to run on modern unleaded fuel. The motor also still retains the ORIGINAL four barrel intake manifold. ORIGINAL exhaust manifolds. ORIGINAL Ford scripted valve covers. ORIGINAL style air cleaner housing and the ORIGINAL four barrel carb. It is amazing how much power this car has. UNBELIEVABLE !! Sounds GREAT too with the - "Throaty" - True Dual Flowmaster exhaust system with custom "H-Pipe" and dual chrome tips. The engine is backed by a SMOOTH - Code "4" - Cruise'O'Matic - three speed automatic transmission which also functions very well.
