LOTUS EXCEL SE WITH FUEL INJECTION AND ELECTRONIC IGNITION. FULL SPECIFICATION CAR WITH ELECTRIC WINDOWS AND MIRRORS. AIR CONDITIONING. CD/RADIO WITH INTEGRAL HANDS FREE PHONE SYSTEM.

THIS CAR WAS SUBJECT TO A FULL BODY STRIP PROFESSIONAL RESTORATION IN 2009. THE ORIGINAL ENGINE WAS COMPLETELY REBUILT AND NOW RUNS ON UNLEADED PETROL. DURING THE RESTORATION. ALL WORN AND DAMAGED PARTS OF THE STEERING. CHASSIS. BRAKES. TRANSMISSION AND RUNNING GEAR WERE REPLACED. THE BODY SHELL WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE GEL COAT AND FULLY PROFESSIONALLY RESPAYED.

THE INTERIOR UPHOLSTERY HAS BEEN RENOVATED IN MAGNOLIA LEATHER WITH BLACK PIPING AND NEW CARPETS IN BLACK WITH MAGNOLIA PIPING. NEWLY VENEERED WALNUT FACIA PANELS AND MOTA-LITA WALNUT/CHROME STEERING WHEEL.

CURRENTLY RUNNING ON COMPOMOTIVE ALLOY WHEELS BUT THE ORIGINAL LOTUS OZ ALLOYS WITH UNUSED DUNLOP TYRES ARE INCLUDED IN THIS SALE.

THIS IS NOW AN EXCELLENT EXAMPLE OF THE LOTUS 4 SEATER. DRIVES AND HANDLES SUPERBLY AND OFFERED FOR SALE HAVING BEEN DRY STORED SINCE THE RESTORATION AND HAVING DONE ONLY 12000 MILES ON THE REBUILT ENGINE. CURRENTLY ON SORN AND MOT EXPIRES IN JUNE ALTHOUGH I AM HAPPY TO HAVE THE CAR MOT'D FOR THE NEW OWNER.
