Model Saab 96 Sport - sports car Swedish company Saab, issued as a replacement for Saab GT750. The car body is no different from the basis of the Saab 96, however, numerous modifications appeared in the "stuffing" and some equipment of the machine. So, for example, Saab 96 Sport have additional headlights.
Car Saab 96 Sport was equipped with a 3-cylinder two-engine with a volume of 841 cubic meters and a capacity of 52 horsepower. In the Saab 96 Sport did not have to mix gasoline and oil manually due to the availability of a separate tank for the latter.
In consequence of the engine Saab 96 Sport was replaced by a V-shaped 4-cylinder with a volume of 1498 cubic meters and a capacity of 65 horsepower. All the cars, produced from 1962 to 1968, were equipped with a 4-speed manual transmission, and front disc brakes.
