Nissan Sunny GTi-R
The model of the 1980s, Sunny was a typical small car with an opening up the back door, so when in Nissan decided that they wanted to put it in a rally in that decade, the company was required to make significant changes. Monokokovaya construction was strengthened and Company Nissan established a complex system of full drive with the Central viscous coupling and the differential with high internal friction for better adhesion of the wheels with the surface. Independent MacPherson suspension was placed on ball bearings and height of the driving and slightly reduced, the diameter of the wheel disks reduced to 335 mm. The body also simplified (there were only a rear spoiler and vent hood). GTi-R was a quiet machine. The model was placed fully aluminium motor with two shafts, 16 valves, electronic inboard fuel system Bosch and turbochargers with interkulerom. The motor have not suffered because of turboyamy and gave a big torque. Model existed from 1990 to 1994, and was more impressive of a vehicle on the highway than successful rally.
