Welcome to my Auction for my Superb Austin Mini Cooper Road/ Rally Car. 1968.
     She is a lovely car with stacks of character and admired everywhere seen. She is not a toy or lookalike. but a fully functional Rally car that has had no expense spared on her.
She is a 998cc Almond Green with the correct twin carbs. head and gearbox. Vin and commission tags. Works dashes a very expensive and rare rally extra. Cooper Sump guard. Twin fuel tanks. Perspex side windows. Rare 10 inch Lightweight Minilite wheels. Fully Rally seam welded strengthened inside and out at a lot of time and at great expense. Poly bushed adjustable  front suspension for negative camber. she still sits on her wet hydraulic suspension. Full roll cage. Quad front fog lights. Foot guard rests. Restored racing seats with full racing harnesses. navigators light. Fly off hand brake. inside lines. 2 inch steering wheel. Lucas spots. Rear Lucas reversing lamp. Fully de-seemed body (was told was done in the 70s). the list goes on. I dont know of any racing history etc if any. but an absolute fortune and time has been spent on this superb Cooper.   Rally Mini Coopers and S can fetch anything from £15000 - £40000+
Note:- she can be used as a every day car with passengers as she is M. O. Td  and is Tax exempt. with normal seat belts and rear seats fitted.  Definitely a fun car all round and a fantastic investment. Better then money in the bank. May P/X.

To answer. a few peoples questions. the car is solid no rot. has had a lot of money spent on restoring and making this little Cooper rally car what it is today. But i think some people are confusing the value of a Mk2 Cooper shell to a  normal mini or a Cooper re-shelled as a mark 3 car. do some homework on what is advertised to get realistic valuation of a Austin Mini Cooper Ralley car.
