1978 VW Type 2 Bay high top camper, 12 months MOT

We have enjoyed many wonderful family holidays and festivals in Willaby over the last eleven years and will be very sad to see him go but the growing needs of our disabled son mean it is time for him to find a new home.

Willaby is a rare high top type 2 bay which really offers the best of both worlds. He gives the wonderful experience of owning your very own gorgeous classic van. with the bonus of extra space and functionality - perfect for a family with children and all the 'stuff' that goes with it. His high top roof enables you to carry far more kit with you than other campers which makes the whole experience of campervanning so much more practical. and you can stand up in him!

He has just been MOT'd and is a reliable runner so is good to go for this year's camping. However. please be aware that he will need some attention in the next 12 months . see below.

More about the high top. it offers the option of a double bed in the roof space which is currently expertly configured to sleep one or two children using two thirds of the potential space. This layout allows good headroom inside the van as well as a great fixed sleeping area. complete with an attractive safety net (see photos). The bed panels are removable. giving you the options for either i) storage only up top. ii) sleeping for one or two smaller children or iii) sleeping for adults by extending using the third panel.
