1967 Chevrolet El Camino 327V8 TH350 auto

. This listing is for my recently imported and fairly rare 1967 Chevy El Camino. the pickup based on the Chevelle wagon of the day.

This is running it's original 327 cu in V8 and TH 350 auto trans. It runs sweet and drives just fine around the docks. It has power steering and power brakes which work and we've had all the hubs off to check brakes and wheel bearings. All brakes were like new so have been cleaned up and re-fitted. and wheel bearings were also in excellent condition. so cleaned. greased and re-fitted. I am currently awaiting brake hoses as they have started to perish. and we'll replace the cross axle brake pipes too. Exhaust silencer is burst. we will replace that with a new one.

Lights. wipers and horn all work. We will change the headlights to UK spec left dipping ones with halogen H4 bulbs and put the front sidelights into the headlight units to do away with having amber front sidelights which are illegal. We will fit amber rear indicators as factory red is not allowed in 1967.

Tyres are all old and cracked despite having great tread. and in fact the left front wheel is different from the rest as the tyre blew out and we chucked an old wheel on so we could move it about. The car comes with a matching set of four of the "rostyle" style wheels and a set of new blackwall tyres.

Body wise. this is a solid old car. has one small piece rusted above the driver door at the roof gutter. an easy enough repair. It has some dents. not many and is otherwise solid. The right front wing is a different colour as the last owner fitted that to repair the original one. which he didn't do. We will repair it and re-fit it. The bonnet shows some blisters but we have a solid replacement one here. Both bumpers are decent. A couple of bits of the stainless side trim are missing. Headcloth is missing but the bows are there. Seat is excellent. like new. Carpets are gone.

We are currently cleaning and painting the underside of this car and will do all work required for the MOT. so it will come fully MOTd and UK registered. Price quoted is for the car on that basis. We can do carpet and headcloth if required and we can also have it painted. but all of that is extra. We are reluctant to do any of this as it just increases the price and maybe we would chose a different colour to what you would? We can of course do the work to order if you want us to complete it for you. e. g. paint is £2500. carpets. headcloth. ect are all available on line and there are plenty of people doing new parts for all these trucks/cars. Everything is the same as the equivalent Chevelle.

I've priced this as keenly as I can. so no offers please. no part ex and no swaps. just money. Payment can be by cash on collection or a bank transfer or cheque. I can arrange delivery no problem at good rates from a reputable car carrier. e. g. Essex for about £300. If you want it delivered. we can arrange that for you and you simply pay the delivery driver on arrival for that. Car needs to be paid in full before it leaves here. and if you commission us to finish it for you. then the price above needs to be paid before we carry out the work. The work can then be paid for before delivery.
