Stunning S2 Spider that after sitting for a few years had now been fully re-commissioned. re-painted and many many new parts added. In the last 6 months it has had: New brakes all round. new brake pipes. discs. calipers etc. new light shrouds. new carpets. wipers. wiper arms. brand new Coburn hood and more.

No rust. Floors have been repaired in the past and the body is tidy and looks beautiful in its fresh coat. Boot floor all good with one small patch repaired in the wheel well.

Interior is good with the rare rear seats fitted from new. Front seats are in good condition with a small split on the drivers seat only. Carpets as described above are all brand new. There is a small crack in the dash top. I have a spare LHD dash should this be required. I seem to have lost the gear knob but I will replace with a new one this week or at the very least find what on earth I did with the old one !

Mechanically it is very good. Starts and drives very well with no know issues. I will be using it daily ( weather permitting ) over the auction duration to ensure reliability. Gearbox is smooth with none of the normal synchro issues. It does tend to remove itself from reverse if pushed too hard but not really an issue. 2nd gear is fine.

All the chrome is good. bumpers are very nice and original.

It has just passed the MOT with no advisories needing only a new flexi brake pipe to pass.

To be clear from the pictures: Gear knob to be replace. spare wheel and boot carpet will be fitted and rubber bonnet seal will be fitted all prior to sale.

The only thing missing is the history as the previous owner could not find it. It is showing 64000Kms which is 40000 miles. I have no way of checking and as such should accept this is not genuine. The V5 is present and in my name.

Engine fully serviced last week.

For those that will ask "How much do you want for it". just do an advanced E-Bay search for similar ones sold to get an idea of it's worth. These Spiders are becoming very hard to find now and in the last 2 years I personally have seen a massive 200% increase in prices and the increase will only continue upwards as rarity grows.

I would be happy to consider part exchanges within E-Bay rules but only really for similar car types or potentially a Discovery 3 or 4 ( HSE only ).
