1961 MGA ROADSTER, 1600cc

For sale is my Uncles 1961 MGA Roadsters. which has the desirable. 600cc engine. My Uncle who is English has requested that the car returns back to the UK as he can not enjoy the car anymore due to his advancing years.

The car has spent most of it's life on the Californian/Oregon border and is rust free.

As you can see from the images of the car. it is in overall good condition. however the car if you wish. can be taken to show condition without to much effort.

The car drives very nicely and can be used as an excellent useable classic. As you see from the images there is not a heater fitted in the car. this is because of the climate the car as come from. and you could perhaps install fresh carpets and bits and bobs to improve her. (quite minor stuff)

The paint shines very nicely with only a few marks present. nbsp;there is a ding in the passenger door that should pull out. ( this is a small ding and the paint has not been damaged. I have tried to show it in the images. however it is to small to show up)

The paint work as stated is very nice and the chrome work is also excellent. and the interior is also very nice and looks original.

The car is going to be priced competitively to sell. and sell quickly. with a very realistic reserve. this will allow the future owner. money in the bank to take the car to show condition. if so desired. and still have the car at a good price. ( the car can comfortably be used and enjoyed as it is)

I would have kept this car in my collection. however I already own a 56 MGA and have had considerable work done on her.

We are aware that we could enter the car into a classic car auction and possibly get more for it. but we do object to the commission that the buyer and seller have to pay and would prefer to pass this saving on. !!!!!

I will assist the purchaser in every way possible to make the transaction as easy as possible and will answer any questions you might have. Please bear in mind I'm not a mechanic. although I do know that these old classics are easy to work on.

To summarise. the car is good and useable. if desired you could spend money on the car and bring to show condition whilst you are using it.
