I think the photos speak for this cars condition. It was subjected to a ground up restoration by myself during 2012/13. The chassis being shot blasted and powder coated as were the suspension wishbones.

The body has been re-sprayed professionally with 2 pack paint. some panels being taken back to bare metal. The tub was undersealed while off the chassis.  The hood is sound. ie no rips or tears.

All of the interior has been reupholstered with a kit supplied by Rimmer bros along with a new carpet set. For the observant. nbsp;the seats are from a Mk2. Inertia seat belts with appropriate bracing have been fitted. All the ancillaries work as they should.

The suspension has been refitted with new bushes and bolts all round. springs and shock absorbers on the front and a new spring on the rear. The tyres are good all round. There are two new unfitted tyres to go with the car. These are of the same pattern as three already fitted.

Most of the brakes have been replaced with new components. ie. front calipers. discs and pads. rear slave cylinders and most of the piping

Under the bonnet the engine starts. runs and pulls readily. Hence apart from changing the oil and filter. plugs. points and re-setting the carbs I've not done any major work on it.  Using the principle of " if it's not broke don't fix it" The Head has not had a unleaded  conversion done. ( I use a additive with a octane booster in the fuel ) The dynamo has been replaced with an alternator and a new fuel pump has been fitted. The battery is good condition and is always on trickle charge when not in use.  A new clutch. pressure plate. master cylinder and slave cylinder have been fitted. The overdrive works as it should.

In the boot the fuel tank has been repaired and tested and treated with a sealant ( Slosh it ) A new boot mat and a gas strut boot lid support have been fitted. The towbar is a factory supplied one.

This car has done 476 miles since it's re-commissioning MOT on May 24th last year. and is one of the reasons for selling it. I'm not using it and it is taking up space that could be put to better use. I enjoy restoring these old cars but not particularly driving them. The money from this one of course will be used on the present on going project.

The car is up for auction. there is no buy now price and I'm not interested in talking to Wheeler Dealers. But if you are genuinely interested in buying it and would like more information or would like to arrange to see it please contact me via eBay leaving your phone number and I will ring you.

Payment. I would like a £250 non-refundable deposit paid to me through Paypal within 24 hours of the auction ending. The remaining full amount by Bank transfer ( CHAPS ) before I will release the car. Cash would be acceptable providing the buyer pays it directly into the Bank in person.

On 10-Apr-14 at 13:21:23 BST. seller added the following information:

The mileage done since it's re-commissioning MOT is 145 miles and not as first stated. I took the mileage reading from the previous MOT by mistake. Also the clutch master cylinder is not a new one. but the brake master cylinder is. I got it the wrong way round.
