Ferrari Daytona Spyder 365 GTS/4 recreation by EG Autocraft

This is my 1975 EG Autokraft Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spyder replica. registration number NEW 924P. Rosso Corsa. EG Autokraft produced very faithful and accurate reproductions of Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spyders. manufacturing a limited amount bespoke to clients requirements. Ferrari officially offered the Scaglietti body Ferrari Daytona Spyder for two years between 1971 and 1973. with 122 examples being made. of which seven were right hand drive. Ironically the replica is rarer than the real thing.  As you can see my car is finished in striking and traditional Rosso red with a very accurate interior needing a valet and tidying. incorporating Daytona style seats finished in cream leather with black inserts. an aluminium and alcantara covered dashboard with full instrumentation. signed Ferrari sports steering wheel. Jaguar's V12 engine mated to a Borg Warner automatic gearbox. which endows the Ferrari replica with a turn of speed to match its looks. This exciting Ferrari replica now offers the new owner the opportunity to own a faithful reproduction of one of the most desirable cars in the world at a fraction of the cost of the real thing. V5C. MOT to September 2014. no current tax This very rare E G Autokraft Ferrari Daytona Spider Replica has had all new brakes & done no miles since it's last MOT. It has quad authentic exhausts which sound wonderful and matching tyres with little wear. This is without question the most accurate replica of the marque. Dimensions are exact and allow genuine Ferrari parts to be used if required. E. G. Autokraft was the work of Emilio Garcia and Peter Jacobs. Emilio had been turning berlinetta Daytonas into spyders for years so it was a logical step for him to engineer a replica. He turned to Peter Jacobs to make the bodies. Peter was the man who built the bodies for the RS200 Ford rally car and the GTD a very well made Ford GT 40 replica.  The E. G bodies were Kevlar reinforced composite and could even be had in aluminium at extra cost.  Uniquely they also built berlinetta''s too and sold around seven in all. Ironically the rareity in the original was in the seven right hand drive spyders but the rareity in the Arrow replicas is there are only seven known coupes! Other replica makers never attempted to build berlinetta copies. The kits were around £20. 00 plus the donor to be built and Emilio would build one for £28. 00 for those who wished a built one. There is a thriving owners club with members around Europe and the US. which has helped many of them to complete and improve their cars.

This car is being reluctantly sold out of my private collection and realistically priced taking into account it needs a little tidying and a few jobs. I am informed that one of the four carbs needs attention and would then benefit from a tune up but generally pretty good for an old car and very solidly built. Sold with box of spares inc carbs. This car is a great investment and a very reluctant sale from my collection due to building work coming in over budget. As it needs work any inspection is welcome as you are bidding to buy as seen and inspected and not to come and haggle.
