PONTIAC FIREBIRD ESPRIT 2nd GENERATION 1979

Pontiac Firebird Esprit 2nd Generation Fisher body 1979.
An  amazing find a  rust free Pontiac Firebird with only 21. 00 miles from new with old Mots to back up the mileage.    The original owner owned it from 1979 to 2005 so only 2 previous owners.  Fitted with a slightly modified 231 cu 3. 8ltr V6 which is great on fuel about 28 mpg. Edelbrock inlet manifold with a 4160 Holley carb and a Hilborn style air intake nicely done  makes this car  fun and a pleasure to drive handling modern traffic well. allowing you to cruise on the motorway 70mph all day  but still have plenty of grunt when you need it. It has been fitted with a custom made Triple  Exit  /  Double sided  side exit exhaust so sounds awesome . nothing like you would expect a V6 to sound!   With recently reset. reconditioned rear leaf springs and Monroe MA708 adjustable air shocks for that 70's Pro street look.  Original 70's Wolfrace Super  Slot ally wheels fitted with 225/70/15 BF Goodrich to the front and  255/70/15 BF Goodrich tyres to the rear only covering about 5000 miles from new.   The Engine bay has been dressed up with a few chrome bits and stainless overbraiding  which is highlighted by green LED.  It also has remote adjustable under lighting. Door puddle lights . a feature nose  light with illuminated  Diff. Whilst on lights new headlights have been fitted UK spec and all the interior lights  have been swapped to red LEDs.  The interior is in great condition with no rips . ares  or much wear. to complement the black cloth interior it has been fitted with a Grant real walnut steering wheel and pod mounted tacho.  The  AM/FM Stereo has a retro look is complete with i pod docking  invisible under shelf mounted speakers and a 800 watt sub woofer in the trunk.  The exterior has been resprayed by the previous owner some 30 years ago and hasnt had much done to it since then so please expect a few knocks and small dents that you would expect of a car  of its age. The trunk lid and front bumper would benefit from some new paint but by no means detract from the overall appearance of the car and is rust free chassis wise and bodily . I have shown this car many times and have won  several trophies last year. It does have a bit of a Batman thing going on with it  ( OK I know I'm sad )   but all can be removed and i have retained all of the original engine parts if you want it straight and pure.  I have tried to be as subjective as I can but at the end of the day  opinions are just personal  so I would recommend coming to have a look  please remember this is a 35 year old car or at the least give me a call 07989748094  or email keith@redrocketltd. co. uk  The car is located in  Bournemouth.
