Triumph TR250 (TR5) for sale

Very rare Triumph TR250   (American version of the TR5)  These cars were only made from 1967 to 1968.   I am told there are only 600 remaining now worldwide.

This car needs full restoration.   The car was taken into a body shop in the USA for restoration but never got done. All they did was take it apart.  

The 2500 straight 6 engine appears okay and turns over by hand. Car looks to be complete. I have noted that the front wing marker lights. wing chrome trims. soft top are missing. There is no spare wheel.  The rear bumper and hood frame are with the car. The drivers side door glass is missing

THIS CAR HAS RUST.   The inner and outer sills have been cut off the car. The floors are rusty. the boot floor has rust. Chassis looks to be in good condition.

Bonnet. doors. wings are very repairable.

The car will need new interior trim and soft top. Windscreen is good with no cracks.


The body panels have been removed from car they are just hanging in place for the photographs

This car needs a full ground up restoration and will not be a weekends work. It is a very good basis for a concourse restoration. I have restored a lot worse ?

All import duty and taxes have been paid. I have all required paperwork to register the car in whatever country.
