My TAX EXEMPT 1303 Super Beetle is up for For Sale. She has had a lot of work done while I have owned her in the last 8 years. The Engine is a 1600cc twin port with twin solex (electronic choke) carbs. electronic fuel pump with regulator. alternator conversion. uprated pulleys. polished oil filler neck & oil breather. with a GT Exhaust System and more extras!
 
The body work - The car is in great condition. we restored it three years ago and gave her a fresh paint job. the paint is not show room finish but she still gets smiles. waves and admires everywhere I go! I have fitted widen wings which look great with the powder coated banded steels and the Kamei Splitter at the front! I have fitted smoked rear lights and indicators. seamless window seals. new wing mirrors and cross-hair crystal front lights which help the whole style look great.

There is a little bit of surface rust showing on the inside of the bumpers now as that area is very hard to clean and polish. The stainless exhaust now removed also started to make the paint on the rear valence bubble. it is not rust / rot it is where the painted got so hot and bubbled and set raised. The black spec next to the decklid is a leaf which was on the car in the photo.


The interior has been completely updated. I had the dashboard fibre-glassed and smoothed and I fitted a rare leather German steering wheel with cover to match. The rear bench has been reupholstered in black leatherette which match the front reclining bucket seats and black cloth headlining. I have also fitted remote central locking to her which always shocks people. along with a electronic washer bottle.
Documentation: I have loads of documentation with the beetle right back to 1972!
 
She is very solid. I have replaced both floor pans. front and rear valences. both rear quarters. new bonnet. new deck lid. front and rear Bumper mounts and sections where the wing mounts had rotted too. The wings are now fiberglass so they wont rot. The bumpers where brand new provided de-chromed so the paint is to metal NOT chrome. Also come with Rare 1303 Bonnet Bra:


I have spent a lot of time and effort on her to make her one of a kind.
