RARE 4 SPEED MANUAL !!!
This car hails from Georgia and then spent the last year of its life as a daily driver in Alabama before being shipped here about eight weeks ago. I have both Titles from each state and the relevant paperwork to register the car (all duties paid).  Recently MOT'd.
Running and driving 4 Speed. T-Top cars do not come up for sale very often. The car requires a full respray as the lacquer is peeling in places. The car is very solid without the usual rot around the back window. in the rear arches. the floors and trunk. I have lots of photos of the underside. floors. sills. rear panels. frame rails. tank etc etc that I can mail to you. This Trans Am is very solid. There is a small rust patch in front of the drivers rear arch. a patch behind the wheel and some bubbles behind the passenger rear wheel. Hood/ bonnet and trunk lid are excellent. Doors are the same. The car starts on the nail every time. the clutch operates smoothly and the gearbox selects all gears and reverse no problem.  All lights. interior and exterior operate correctly. Wipers and washers work ok. All of the locks and windows operate correctly. All of the dash gauges work. including the clock ! The heated rear screen seems to operate ok. The dash pad has had some cracks repaired in the past. but has got a new dash mat fitted over it to protect it from any further damage. The carpet appears to be replaced recently. The seats are presentable but a bit tired. The headlining could do with tidying. I would respray the car black and fit an SE decal kit if  I was keeping it. The car drives and sounds like thunder !The front spoiler between the front wheel flares is missing. A change of plans means I am now selling the car. unless it remains unsold and I will then have it painted.

Air Con and Heated Rear Screen (compressor missing but everything else appears to be present).
8" x 15" WS6 Snowflakes with recent 265/60/15 Hankook Ventus up front (loads of tread) and 295/50/15 HP 4000 at the back ( will need replacing shortly due to some spirited driving)! Correct centre caps fitted. not plastic repros. New correct wheel nuts fitted.
Engine: YC code 400ci 6. 6 litre block fitted with extremely rare Code 62 Big Valve. High Compression RAIII GTO HeadsRecent Summit performance Carb 600/750 Vac Sec with Electric Choke ( runs a bit rich until warm ) Edelbrock Inlet ManifoldEdelbrock chrome valve covers and breathers. Performance HEI Distributor with Accel Super CoilHeadman HeadersPerformance CamFull Dual Performance exhaust with correct Splitter tail pipes.
Factory 4 Speed Transmission and console car. Hurst Shifter and stick.
As you can see from the photos ( all taken this past weekend) you can see that under the hood a lot of work has been carried out by the previous owner. It looks like all the front suspension and steering has been dismantled. rebuilt and repainted / powder coated along with the firewall and front wheel inner arches. This car has had a lot of the hard work completed already but there are still some jobs to do. You could use the car whilst you complete them and respray it.
