1983 VW Jetta Coupe

 

Body/Interior: 

·       Originally a 5 door it has had a professional 3 door (coupe) Conversion

·       Engine bay has been striped with any unneeded brackets removed

·       Scuttle tray removed and heater panel covered (no heater)

·       Steering column lowered

·       Raised top mounts for lower stance with same suspension travel

·       Arches have been rolled and flared for wide wheels

·       Rear harness bar/strut brace. with slots cut in the rear seat metal to allow belts (rear seats can still be fitted)

·       Custom one off metal bumpers

·       Corrado seats. centre console. basic interior. no headlining currently

·       Battery re located to boot

·       Slight damage to passenger side wing easily fixed ( as pictured)

·       Few slight cracks to the paintwork

 

Engine: 

·       Originally a 1. 6 Diesel Automatic

·       ABF conversion

·       Bike Carbs

·       Ported and polished head

·       Kent Cams

·       Front mounted Oil cooler

·       Fresh service with water pump ect.

·       Up rated fuel pump and filter

·       Custom Sump Guard

 

Running Gear: 

·       4T Gearbox (Great ratios)

·       Standard brakes with up rated discs and pads

·       Servo removed and master cylinder re located

·       Weitec coilovers (room to go silly low. due to raised mounts)

·       Fuel lines ran through car to stop and rubbing

·       Rear wheels are currently spaced out 60mm behind the stub axel. has ran 10” wide wheels in the past so can run wide if desired
