Just in from California a rust free rock solid San Jose (R code) Mustang coupe which. according to the California DMV documentation that I have in my possession. has covered a genuine 35. 00 miles. Appears to have been painted once in its original colour of "Springtime Yellow" many years ago and the majority of it should polish up well. there are a couple of minor areas that have reacted to the California heat. namely on the nearside rear quarter and on the back panel under the boot lid near the filler cap. also a few minor chips and scratches.  However this is a beautiful looking car. the body has nice straight panels with even door gaps and nice shut lines. Open the doors and one is greeted with a lovely interior with what appears to be original upholstery in excellent condition. although the head lining has a couple of marks and one loose seam. The dash is not cracked but the hot climate has lifted it slightly around the demist vents. easy job to fix as it just needs tucking back in.  I lifted the carpet as can be seen in picture 10 so that one can see just how nice and original the floor pans are . absolutely like new!!! The car runs silky smooth with lovely motor. the T code 200ci (3. 3 litre) engine is surprisingly nippy and the trans shifts fine. in general runs really well and starts instantly. I have replaced all the brake hoses. checked all the lights etc and now the car has a new MOT.  Duties have been paid. NOVA has been declared to HMRC. and UK registration has now been completed. the car is bearing the number FNA 232C. In picture 8 you can see it wearing its original California black / yellow plate. So to sum up the car will come with almost 12 months tax (free) and MOT. nbsp;plus the V5 reg document which is in my name. I will also supply a colour copy of the California Title (the American equivalent of our V5) that confirms the mileage. Delivery can be arranged subject of course to full prior payment.
