1964 MERCEDES 230SL (LHD) Pagoda, Euro version

This is a 1964 Mercedes 230SL (LHD) Euro Version. Hard-Top with a Soft-Top. Automatic with power steering. Speedometer is in KM/h. It was an original German car but spent most part of its life in California (USA) before imported into UK last year.

MECHANICALY SOUND- Clean engine Starts. nbsp;Runs and Drives. brakes needs little attention. Previous owner was a Mechanicl Engineer who had been useing this 230SL as for a weekend driver in California before I acquired it into my collection in December 2013 with an intention of doing a  cosmetic refurb. There are few previous registration certificats comes with the car. it has an original engine number plate as well as a chassis number on the engine bay. A brand new MB style front seats covers and new black colour Soft-Top and some interior trims have been already made for this car as a part of restoration. it will come with the car (see the photos).

Body is generally in good condition. and wax-oiled undercarriage and inter-wheel arch areas etc. But the paint work. some interior trim and seat covers are not in good condition. it has been suffered by California's hot wheather. Chrome work looks good. it has also chrome wheels. Additional / original steering wheel also included.   

Please note that the original factory colour of this 230SL was a rare " GREY METALLIC" with black interior (please see the attached dash / interior photo). A beautiful original colour combination if you wish to do a complete new paint job.

The car is currently kept in a dry storage. nbsp;Runs and Drives. nbsp;it can be used on the road after a general check up and test to obtain a new MOT.

It has a Potential.  but needs "COSMETIC RESTORATION" including a new paint work etc in order to increse the value of this car. nbsp;as Pagoda market is in high demand.    

PLEASE NOTE: The car is offered for sale "AS-IS WHERE IS CONDITION" due to lack of storage space.    Total PRICE IS £27. 900 including above mentioned items.  On this sale an immediate £1000 deposit is required and the balance in full must be paid via Bank transfer within ten days and arrange to collect the car.

UK Coustoms duty and VAT have been paid. original document. nbsp;original Title along with a Bill of Sale come with the car.  The car is not registered in UK. therefore. the buyer arrange a transport to collect the car.
