- 1969 true GTO. partially restored. no rust on entire car!  455 V-8. with recent edelbrock intake & carb. headers with glass packs.  Recent complete automatic transmission rebuild ($2700).  Engine pulled recently for new rear main seal. new oil pan. crank shaft polish. new water pump. timing cover gaskets. and new fuel pump. The rod and main bearings were also replaced.   Factory A/C car. with complete A/C rebuild ($2500). including new evaporator. condenser. compressor. hoses. receiver/drier. expansion valve.  Suspension work including new ball joints and tie rods. and new shocks and struts.   Factory front disc brakes. with new rotors & pads.  Power steering. power brakes. New fuel tank and sending unit.  New front windshield.  Interior restored. including new carpet. front and rear seat covers. front seat foam. headliner. package tray.  Alpine CD with kick panel speakers and package tray speakers. Rockford Fosgate amp.  Period correct Delco 8 track player. restored and fully operational. Rally II 14 inch wheels.
-The good:  This car is rock solid. no rust on frame or body. Engine fires right up and runs great. transmission shifts smoothly. Would drive this car across the country without hesitation.  Tires like new. Comes with a new rear windshield which I never got around to having installed. Everything works on the car(lights. signals. etc) Also comes with the factory steering wheel.  Have Pontiac Historical Services documentation on car.  This is a 90% restored GTO. that just needs someone to take it the rest of the way.
-The not so good:  Paint job is Carousel Red (hugger orange). not a perfect job.  No runs. but not exactly glossy.  Endura bumper has some irregularities. and some chipped paint.  Dash has a plastic cover which is a little buckled. but not terrible.  Dash has been cut for single DIN modern head unit.  Fabric covering sail panels (where headliner meets package tray) is a little wrinkled and wavy.  Rally II wheels have been repainted using factory decal. but wheels are a little pitted. and wheel paint job suffers somewhat (see pictures).  Some puffs of white smoke when driving. from small amounts of oil which escape from site where oil dipstick tube enters block; this was improperly reinstalled when engine was pulled. and oil drips onto passenger side header when driving. and burns off.  No smoke from exhaust pipes!  Oil pan needs dropped to fix this. I just never got around to it.  A/C blows cold. but blower motor is noisy and not very strong. I have the blower motor and cage. just never got around to installing them.
-The car comes with a lot of extras including: new rear windshield. period correct Pontiac hub cups. comp cams timing chain set. valve spring set. pushrod set. hydraulic lifter set. and Xtreme Energy cam. Also have new lug nuts. various decals. and stock intake and exhaust manifolds.
