1940 Plymouth Coupe Hot Rod

Here's a great Hot Rod you can take to the local meets or just have fun cruising in. This car started life as a 1940 Plymouth Coupe. It was profesionally restored and built by Lawless Hot Rods in Pensacola. Florida.

The car was done right by true professionals using quality parts. and it is in fantastic condition. It runs STRONG. but it's easy to drive. powered by a 383 Chevy V8 mated to a turbo 350 transmission and Ford 9" rear with 3:08 gears.

The paint looks great. and shines like new all around. Its blue over silver with coral and teal painted stripes. There are no dents or dings.

This coupe has Centerline wheels. 6" up front and 10" in the rear. The tires are Mickey Thompson Pro-Street

There is a custom aluminum grill and custom aluminum bumpers.

The interior is in very. very good condition. There are no rips. holes or tears in the leather seats. The carpets. door panels and headliner are also in very good shape.

This Plymouth has a leather-wrapped Billet steerineg wheel and a Lokar shift lever.

It has cold Vintage A/C and heater. It has power windows. electric wipers and a Pioneer AM/FM/CD (with wireless remote).

The dash. rear deck and door handles are real wood.

The trunk is also clean and trimmed to match the exterior paint. It also makes a great trophy display - and this car has already won a few.

The motor is a 383ci tuned port Chevy V8. Its mated to a turbo 350 auto transmission with a Ford 9" rear with 3:08 gears. There's lot of real nice chrome and polished aluminum parts. including an aluminumn radiator and and an aluminum exhaust. It also has an aftermartket transmission cooler. This car was built on a sub-frame from a Pontiac Firebird.

There's no rot under the car.

(By the way. this car also has a battery tender. which you can see in the above picture. just under the right rear fender)

The odometer reads 14. 44. That is the mileage on the car since it was built by Lawless Hot Rods.

ALL VEHICLES ARE SOLD AS IS unless otherwise noted. Vehicles with remaining warranty must be handled between purchaser and new car dealer. We occasionally buy our cars from new car dealers. and in some cases the dealer has to make a payoff to a finance company and wait for the title. which could be delayed up to 15 days.
As we are located In Florida. we are required to title a vehicle "Exempt" in miles if the car is 10 years or older. The miles listed is the actual reading from the cars odometer.  
We do not reveal reserve price amounts. so please don't ask. We prefer to see all auctions through to the end in order to get the best price for a vehicle. We are a dealer however. and all vehicles are for sale to the public. We therefore reserve the right to cancel all bids and end the auction early if the vehicle is sold. We reserve the right to cancel bids from those with excessive or net negative feed back.

Payment and Fees

We will add a $249 dealer prep charge to the final bid price. This is to cover the cost of vehicle cleaning. phone calls. Fed-Exing of packages and other document handling costs. If a vehicle is not picked up within 10 days of the auction close. we reserve the right to charge a reasonable storage fee.

You may pay the purchase price in cash. with a cashiers or certified check or wire transfer. We do not accept credit cards for full purchase price. If you are the winner. a $500 non-refundable deposit within 48 hours of the end of the auction is sufficient to hold the car until the remainder can be sent or car is picked up (sorry. we do not accept credit cards or Paypal at this time) . If these forms of payment are not acceptable. please do not bid. Final payment is expected within five (5) days thereafter.

If you are a Florida resident. you will be required to pay applicable sales tax and registration fees. If you are not a Florida resident. you will be required to register the vehicle in your home state at your own cost. including registration fees. inspection fees and sales taxes applicable to your state.

If you are seeking financing. please be sure to hold off on your bid until your funding has been approved. I DO NOT ACCEPT BANK DRAFTS OF ANY KIND. You are responsible for your own finance arrangements so please take care of them before bidding.

With notice. we are more than happy to pick up our winning bidder at Ft Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) during regular operating hours. Monday - Friday 9-4 (Saturday by Appointment).
