Greetings and Welcome to my Auction.

I am selling this car for a very good friend of mine. He has owned this car for the last 13 years and put about 32. 00 miles on it. He has driven it every summer and gave it the mechanical attention it needed over the years. My 64 yr. old buddy is looking to upgrade to a newer toy for retirement travel and outings with his beautiful wife. This MG has been taken care of and put away winters. It was driven 2 to 4 thousand miles a year and used mostly for his golfing outings in the summer.

This car is mostly stock it started right up and was just driven this week.

 

Accessories. Necessities and equipment are as follows:

It has a radio with working antenna. but could use new speakers. All lights work. Blinkers work manually (needs signal flasher) All the gauges work and hey the clock even work sometimes. Wipers work but washers need work. The heater works. it puts out heat. but the needs fan switch. Driver seat has tears passenger seat is much better both have seat covers. Dash is cracked (see picture) Has a snap on  leather tonneau. As mentioned the top goes up and down but needs to be replaced (see pics) It has a zip out rear window.

This is a working and driving a car. it would make a great starter car or a good choice for restoration with parts readily available. Body is basically rust free except some surface rust on top of the rear drivers quarter (see pics) The paint is OK. There is a crack on the front drivers door where I believe the only filler was used. This car has been painted a different color in the past (see pic) . but was originally blue.

The trunk is solid with a small amount of surface rust on the upper right side by the fuel pump. no holes. What you see in the trunk picture is the latex backing of the carpet mat he pulled out to take the photos. The instrumentation photo was taken with the car running to show the working cond.

There is a service manual. an extra hood. carb and manifold (1980) plus some misc. small parts. bulbs etc.
