Looking for a Beautiful Restored 1959 MGA 1500 Roadster? This is it! Do not let this one get away! This would look great in your garage! Take a look at the lines on this beauty. This is the Gold standard of Beauty and Style on which other British roadsters are judged. We listed this for a friend of ours that did an every nut and bolt restoration over the past 5 years and as you can clearly tell in the pictures this was his pride and joy!! This 1959 MGA 1500 Roadster has undergone a frame off restoration. It has less than 500 miles since it was restored. Everything on this British classic sports car is either new or has been rebuilt and restored. The car is not restored to concourse specs but. as far as possible. all restoration maintained original specs – down to the paint color formula. This is Not an everyday driver. Everything on this car was taken apart and re-assembled. I can assure you it runs and drives VERY WELL. It has all the good looks. has the power you would expect from a Twin Carb 1489 cc engine and it handles like a go-cart. what is not to like? This is one Sexy car. If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come look at and drive this car for yourself. you won't be disappointed !! This is a QUALITY CAR FOR SURE.

 

This BEAUTY has what appears to be the STRONG - ORIGINAL – Rebuilt. Engine number: 15GB-U-H-33396 (Base of Block: 1H 858 AF7 12. 11. 7) 1489 CC - Four cylinder motor in it and running VERY WELL indeed. The motor still retains the Original (AUC784) Dual SU carburetors. Original air cleaner housings / breathers. Original intake manifold. Original exhaust manifold and its Original valve cover. Sounds good too with the new factory style exhaust system with a chrome tip. The engine is backed by a smooth Original Rebuilt (Gear Box ID Number: GM 3377) four speed manual transmission which also functions very well. Original Rear Axle ID Number: 18528 10/43 axle housing blasted and painted. all seal replaced and the drive line rebuilt. new U-joints. balanced. New radiator. cap and new water pump. New gas tank. new sending unit. all new gas lines. both carburetors rebuilt. All new brakes lines. all new clutch lines. all new fittings. Master and slave cylinders rebuilt. All rebuilt shocks absorbers from O’Connor Classics; completely rebuilt with new bushings. ball joints. tie rod ends. Rear suspension was rebuilt. shocks absorbers from O’Connor Classics; leaf springs blasted and powder coated. new shackle bushings. Brakes were completely redone; all shoes. cylinders. springs. etc. are new. the backing plates were blasted and powder coated. hand brake cable is new. hand brake lever was even refurbished. Frame was blasted and powder-coated. The New interior is beautiful. including. NICE ORIGINAL Black vinyl front bucket seats that were just re-covered. new Red carpeting. a VERY NICE ORIGINAL MG steering wheel. VERY NICE ORIGINAL matching Black vinyl door panels. VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black vinyl dash. VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black vinyl dash pad with NO CRACKS. VERY NICE ORIGINAL gauge cluster including a factory tachometer. All of the rubber weatherstripping is New. This MGA is nicely equipped including factory gauge package including tachometer. new good glass. good heater and defroster. original rear view mirror. This car is a great running and wonderful looking MGB Roadster. This MGA 1500 Roadster Convertible has sharp looks. good power! These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension and drive train are all new and in good working order as well as the electrical system. All the lights work including headlights. taillights. Speaking of lights all of the ORIGINAL light and reflector lenses are clear. bright and uncracked and in BEAUTIFUL condition. The trunk compartment is also nice and clean and has a NEW Red carpet kit and a full size spare tire.

 

This MGA is a great investment opportunity and it is priced right! It is in GREAT condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a good example of a sought after and hard to find Restored collector sports car which is not seen at every car show. If you have been looking but cannot find a Classic British Sports Car worthy of your hard earned money look NO further because this is the one! The Orient Red Basecoat/Clearcoat exterior finish on this vehicle is cut and polished to a high Shine. showing only a few very very small imperfections and is STUNNING as you can clearly see in the pictures! As for the body; the aluminum trunk-lid. hood. doors. hand stripped; body sand-blasted and professionally repaired and painted by the shop that built the car that won "best of Show" at the biggest show in the US and Biggest Mopar show in 2010. All the dog legs and rocker panels replaced; radiator duct replaced; trunk had no rust and was blasted and painted. Paint color is proper for 1500 Roadster. What a STUNNING color combination. is there any better for a British sports car? The original chrome and stainless was restored or is new. Black canvas full cockpit tonneau cover. The original spoke wheels were re-tightened. with all 5 new tires. including the spare. WOW. does this combination look OUTSTANDING on this car and really add to the overall cosmetic impression of this BEAUTY! This vehicle is in nice mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well. It is solid with respect to the overall mechanical condition as well Electrical. it is all new it retained the original positive ground system. completely new wiring – main harness. secondary harnesses. switches etc. . fittings to dash. headlights. tail light parking lights. voltage regulator. flashers. headlights. tail lights and parking lights. I looked underneath and also included photos below. You could eat off the undercarriage. you can surely see that everything was re-done. Again this is a NICE - DRY - SOLID Idaho high mountain desert - western vehicle.
