1950 Five window Chevy 3100 Southern Truck. This survivor spent most of it's life in Georgia. I purchased it in 2012 and brought it to Ohio where it has been stored ever since. This truck that has the better 235 cubic inch six cylinder. a 3 speed on the column and a 12 volt system. This is ready to be a weekend cruiser and/or customized to your liking. The frame and undercarriage is solid. An expert in 3100 Chevy's went over it and said it's one of the best surviving examples he's seen. nbsp;noting the cab. doors. hood. fenders and bed are all original. Aftermarket parts are made different and don't have the scallops for draingage or the riveted areas like the original body parts have and like this truck has. The engine is from a '54 and is the correct engine for this truck. It has some newer replacement chrome bumpers and tail lights. The interior is original. Wooden bed is fine and with very little work will look great. Please remember this is not a show truck and it is not perfect but it is a mostly original survivor in great condition.  I would classify this as being in daily driving condition as it runs and drives solidly for that. With a little refreshing it could be entered into the survivor category at local car shows.  Because it is solid underneath and has its original body panels and interior it is also a grerat candidate for a complete restoration. It is not perfect and there are some areas that need attention like the start of corosion around the windshhield.  The driver front fender has some putty in the area where it meets the door. Not alot but I want to be honest. I've had a magnet all the way around the entire truck and that is the only area that it didn't stick too. Frame and undercarriage is solid and in my opinion is the strongest selling point if you're looking for a restoration - that and the original body panels.   Runs good. engine and transmission are fine. brakes are fine. Again. it's in daily driving or weekend cruiser condiditon. This is a perfect candidate for a complete restoration. it's all there. I purchased it to put a small block in but then realized it's authentic condition and decided to not to alter it. It is in Columbiana. OH where arrangements can be made to see it. The pictures are of the actual truck itself. Title is clear. This is for sale locally and could go at anytime. Spring is here and us old farts are coming out of hibernation and looking for something to buy. Buyer handles all transportation but I will assist in every way I can. To summarize this is an excellent truck to drive as is. refresh and go to shows. do a complete restoration or customize to your liking. It's not perfect but for a 64 year old Chevy truck it's about as original as you're going to find. You won't go wrong and could always get your money back. I've tried to describe it as best I could. it's the real thing. Thanks for looking. Jeff 330-501-7309
