There are a lot of 1955 Chevys out there. seeing how it is one of the most Sought after collector cars. It certainly is a popular car. From the 50's to present. and the reasons everyone falls in love with them are obvious. But to have one stand out is not easy . o have a 1955 Chevy that can be driven anywhere  and enjoyed. while delivering the kind of looks that makes kids and grown men stop in their tracks as it drives by. well. that's not as easy as it sounds. Well actually it is if you are the lucky winning bidder on this beautifully restored 1955 Chevy with under 3000 miles on the restoration. You will definitely appreciate this car's beautiful Yellow and white Custom paint scheme with Pearl ghost flames that are very tastefully done (only can be seen in certain light). This 55 Chevy is modern looking and performs and drives like a modern car but sticks to the original and unmistaken look of a 55 Chevy POST car.  A sizeable chunk of change and time where invested in getting the chrome and Stainless steel refinished. but the results were definitely worth it. as it sparkles like jewelry on this Bel Air and the overall look definitely delivers in a big way.
 
 
 
The interior is definitely not subtle. but the outstanding execution and neat details make it an excellent place to spend some time. The custom Door Panels that where proffesionally done are modern looking but still look as if they could have been a factory creation. The dash and window mouldings where fully restored. nd treated to the same beautiful Urethane base coat clear coat PPG paint that the exterior has. Modern Gauges have been added which include a gauge pod with auxiliary gauges and new tachometer with shift light that looks as if it was a factory option. The band of bright metal that stretches from end to end is exceptional.
The interior makes this 55 daily driver comfortable . It also has an aftermarket Radio that was made specifically to fit the 1955-1957 chevys along with updated speakers. t also has a very nice custom Billet billet steering wheel that is wrapped in leather. Everything remains in excellent condition. You will want to jump in and drive it to work when the weather is nice and then drive to a cruise in or a full blown car show out of state.
 
 
 
The Chevy Small block V8 was introduced  in 1955. and this one continues the tradition. although there are some very big differences. foremost among them being the 327 Chevy forged steel crank engine (no boring 350 crate engine here). Breathing has been enhanced with high-flow headers and a full custom Flowmaster Muffler exhaust.  Things will stay cool thanks to a new  radiator out front. Pop the hood and all the chrome and painted engine compartment frame and inner fenders and inner hood glitters like a show piece.  The real fun begins once you turn the key and hear the outstanding rumble of the hand picked camshaft which sounds great through the dual exhaust  . it'll be easy to understand why this car is so roadworthy. A  Muncie Close Ratio 4 speed transmission was chosen for performance / fun and fuel economy which turns the original  rear end with 3:55 gears. which hangs on a set of adjustable air shocks. Brakes have been updated and work as well as a newer chevrolet
 17-inch performance Kumho Ecsta radials and a chromemoly HELLWIG Front sway bar give this 55 chevy a handling edge that enhances the ride.
Oh did we mention the beatiful polished aluminum Torq thrust II American Racing 17" wheels that where chosen and really make the car pop along with all the chrome ss trim and proffessionally applied paint.
Most everything was either replaced or restored on this beatiful 1955 chevy. the custom paint job would cost $20. 00 alone

Very Comfortable to drive.  Car  has been driven from central NY to the Goodguys Show in Poconos Pa. Where it Cruised around the NASCAR track at over 110 mph with ease.   Car handles incredible and drives like a newer car. With Current tune car gets almost 20 mpg!!! not bad for a car that is capable of  about 375 hp!!! and 3:55 gears. !!!   I Had a blast assembling this awesome car then cruising it and winning trophies. I dont have the time to enjoy this car anymore and would rather see someone enjoy it than seeing it sit in storage with my other cars.  Car looks better in person. Most Everything on this car was either replaced or restored. As much confidence that I have that you will be totally happy and have no issues with this car as with any used car this car is being sold in as is condition with no warranty
