MGB ROADSTER 1978
A late MGB with a Chrome Bumper conversion. MOT and Tax until September 2014. Odometer shows 15K. Good mechanically. Engine pulls very well. runs nice and cool and shows excellent oil pressure. Gearbox is smooth and precise with fully functioning overdrive (switch on gear lever). On the road the car handles nicely. drives and brakes straight.
Body work has been subject to restoration in the past. new front wings. door skins. sills. repairs to rear wings but some areas could do with tidying (see Photos).  The colour match isn't great on the rear lower wings.  The original 'deckchair' seats have been replaced with more tasteful grey velour items and are in good condition. as is the rest of the interior.
Hood has no tears or damage to the transparencies.
The car has a stainless exhaust. Brakes have been treated to new calipers and pads recently. Wheels are genuine 'Minilights' and all tyres have 7-8mm tread remaining.
Overall then. a great driving MGB ready for use that would benefit from some cosmetic improvement.
