Seller's notes: this is an old H reg mk1 escort it has had welding done in the past there ara a few bits that have a small hole. the top mounts were good but as a genuine type 48 shell (same as type 49 but without flared wings plus the extra 2 doors it has all the stifners)i needed apair of top mounts in a hurry for a mexico rebuild so they were removed . this shell needs a lot of wire brushing but mostly its solid and sound , i think it needs a pair of wings and a front panel obviously blue mink isnt the best original paint colour so it needs a repaint . this was a 1300 automatic i removed the engine and box and fitted a 1300 xf and manual box purchased of ebay and never got to running stage was sold to me as a runner i never finnished and it is basicly all there maybe short of a propshaft , and an exhaust manifold if you would like the auto engine and the broken auto box carpets were wet and rotten so i have removed them and posibly thrown them.please contact me and have a look before you bid
