I purchased this vehicle from the seller after he started the frame-off restoration which he had to stop due to health reasons. I purchased it. continued the work. life got too busy and I am unable to complete it. Here are the basics. Frame was blasted and epoxy coated. differential rebuilt. transmission rebuilt with overdrive added with correct shortened drive shaft and modified rear trans mount added. New body mounts. tires. brakes(less calipers). starter rebuilt etc. Car has been modified with an electric fan with original fan removed.  Floors are original with front pans fiberglassed . Wiring has been replaced with an aftermarket 14 ga set-up which will have to be finished although most of it is done and working. Dash panels have been updated and changed. Originals are available. I have many boxes of old and new parts to complete the project. Car has been painted with Chromabase / Chromaclear less the bonnet and doors. Paint is included. Car runs and drives presently with 50k on the meter I believe to be original. This is a project which will need to be completed by a dedicated restorer. Car comes with original Rhode Island title/registration.          The intake was changed to a tr6 type set-up with a pair of Weber 32/36 dgev's which run nicely. The wheel well was altered slightly to allow proper clearance but only needs a 2" cowl on the well to keep road dirt from the engine bay. Windshield and hatch have new glass seals and hatch has new weatherstrip. New headliner. electronic ignition. Gm alternator with ammeter(experienced motorheads will know why). Many spare new parts from Spitbits/Victoria british. Many old parts to restore to original if so desired. I am available by cell phone to answer questions at 845 235 0089.    Also included with this sale is the replacement poly transmission cover. There is a new original style exhaust system on vehicle. Wheels are painted to match-needs 1 trim ring to complete. Heater box has been cleaned and painted-needs to be reinstalled. The car was rebuilt using new stainless fasteners maintaining the british thread continuum although some through-bolts like the starter may have metric or sae bolts used temporarily. Battery is new. tr6 starter plus original. I have both front side valence panels plus an aftermarket spoiler. Oil pan gasket is weeping on drivers side and may need to be changed. I have the gasket set included. Compression averages 145-150. This is a roto-flex vehicle with new couplers. I have a set of Rotoflex replacement cv joint couplers I bought from Canley Classics LTD which can be purchased separately if desired. Seats are included. one is decent. the other needs reupholstering. Rear bumper is straight but needs rechroming-the front needs the same plus straightening. A pair 1970 gt6 rear bumpers come with the car-these are decent.
