The cream of the crop!

Well as everyone knows I am thinning the herd of Triumph TR6 I have been hoarding! Yes there comes a time you got to let them go. Up for bid today is the one I was saving for myself. She’s a beauty. and an easy start to a fast restoration. Still wearing her original Sienna Brown paint job this TR6 originally from Florida has survived stored inside remarkably well.

I bought the six off the second owner who bought the car for a restoration project for his son and himself. The father and son team disassembled the car stored all the parts and bits in crates and well  . that was it. It sat inside a very nice heated garage for years. then I purchased it. knowing how nice the body was I figured it would be a good car to tuck away until I had a chance to restore it. Basically all I did was buy a hardtop for it and nothing else. just stored it well. inside always.

Condition. well that’s the reason I purchased the project to begin with it’s a southern car and basically needs floor pans. small rust repair on front valence and a spot the size of a half dollar in the trunk pan and maybe a couple more that are hiding. typical battery tray corrosion and the rest is easy dent work. no countless hours of fab work and rot repair!

All outer and inner sheet metal looks very very good. this would be a fast and fairly inexpensive resto. you will not have to spend thousands on panel replacement. Oh and the floor pans are $265. 00 each not including shipping from MOSS MOTORS. but BONUS both pans left and right are included and come with the car MOSS stickers still on them. well over a five hundred dollar value. And speaking of the floor pans the inner and outer rockers look very very solid common on southern cars just the pans are rusted and the inners and outers  are good. which is great because of replacement parts cost savings and labor savings its huge. and when your just doing the pans its fast!

Another highlight of this TR6 is the interior; while not brand new the seats had to have been replaced just prior to the car being shelved with little to no miles put on it. The seats are very nice with little wear showing and the door panels and cock pit trim are also in good condition. There was no carpet kit included with the car.

Next I purchased a very nice complete hardtop for this 1971 Triumph TR6. there's nothing like having the option of the hard top especially up here in the north. very complete with all the hard to find bits included. and in fine shape. replace the head liner and some dent work to be done but overall very nice hard top that will compliment this six nicely and add to its value signifigantly.

Engine and 4 speed trans are intact engine turns. mileage unknown. I would consider them to be original to car but do not have heritage certificate to prove it.

Chassis or frame looks great nice and straight with no rot!  Blast and paint and good to go. huge bonus there!

All other parts are included with car that came off her and all will need typical restoration work. Keep in mind this a Florida car a non -  title state. bill of sale will be included. but if you’re a local buyer from mass you will have to use a title service such as Broadway Title. reputable and fast.

Have fun!  Bid to win! This Six is certainly capable of being on the road by summer it’s that nice easy fast restoration with many new and like new parts included.

Good Luck!
