I recently purchased this car from a friends estate. I grew up around the car and when the opportunity came up to buy her I didn't hesitate. It's a 1924 star model C roadster built in OAKLAND Ca in 1923 by star motor company under DURANT. Car has all vin plates and tags providing that info. it was restored some time in the 60s and done very nice. car has ZERO rust. not even surface rust. has been in a barn in this exact condition on jack stands since 1974. CAR runs and drives! Fires right up. has the continental 4 cylinder with electric start! Shifts 1st through 3rd and reverse fine. stops fine. On the steering column there is 6 registration cards from 1960- 1974. The top is in incredible shape and is soft and not dry. the seat has a rip on the drivers side but that's expected for 91 years old! Car is very strait and both doors and trunk open and close great! Even has working decklid locks! In trunk is the original built in wood tool boxes. wheels are in incredible shape too and have a very nice varnish that ha held up great!. comes with some misc extra parts: 3 carbs. extra windshield posts. distributors. plugs. welting. and some other random bits.
